"Our beading group in Rochester, New York, made this bead design sampler. We had some rules, such as all designs had to be original. When the sampler was passed along, the last person who worked on it was supposed to leave an extra row of 15 size °11 seed beads at the bottom to act as a border and to pass along the sampler in a condition that would allow the piece to hang freely and withstand frequent handling and added weight. Making this project together has added another dimension and trajectory to our group."
