“This piece is part of a series I am creating having to do with the natural world. In 2003, after living my entire life in Rochester, New York, I moved to Arizona. I find it exciting to incorporate the desert colors and textures into my work. My studio is filled with crystals, minerals, fossils, rocks glass beads, and anything else that strikes my fancy. I also create handmade glass beads and cabochons and include them in my jewelry as well.”
