![]() Wrap-and-Roll VideosSarah Anderson developed the wrap-and-roll spinning technique to make core-spun yarns with softness and bounce. She winds the core (usually a cotton crochet millspun yarn) onto a handspindle, and then removes the twist from the core with her handspindle while simultaneously wrapping the core with a handspun single on her wheel. Read the article in the Spring 2008 issue of Spin-Off to learn how to make these amazing yarns and watch these videos of Sarah spinning to see how she does it. You can do it, too! |
