Worked from the cuff down in simple purl patterns that pay homage to the ganseys of British Guernsey, the Alderney Socks feature an extra-long leg and calf shaping. The pattern is sized for two circumferences, and the foot length is adjustable.

Finished Size: 27 1/2 (31 1/2, 35 1/2, 39 1/2, 43 1/2, 47 1/2)” bust circumference. Tunic shown measures 31 1/2″, modeled with 3″ of negative ease.
Yarn: Classic Elite Yarns Seedling (100% organic cotton; 110 yd [101 m]/1 3/4 oz [50 g]): #4556 old lavender (MC), 8 (8, 10, 10, 11, 11) skeins; #4558 salvia red (A), #4532 vivid fuchsia (B), and #4593 steel blue (C), 1 skein each.
Yarn Weight: #0 – Lace
Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm): 24″ circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
