A small chain of cabled borders and a dramatic cable repeat span this canteen-shaped bag. With a strap of chunky wooden chains, it pays homage to the Loop-d-Loop line.

Finished Size: Width: 12″/30.5cm. Height: 10″/25.5cm.
Yarn: Loop-d-Loop by Teva Durham Birch (90% cotton, 10% silk; 98 yd [90m]/50g): #04 poppy, 4 balls.
Yarn weight: #4 – Medium
Gauge: 14 sts and 16 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in St st using 2 strands held together and #10.5 (6.5mm) needles.
Needles: Size 10.5 (6.5mm) and cable needles. Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Stitch markers, wooden chain or other material for strap, yarn needle.
