Notes

For techniques you don’t know, visit our online glossary at www.interweave.com/interweave-knitting-glossary.

This cardigan begins with the lower body, which is worked in one piece from side to side. Stitches are picked up along one edge for the upper fronts and back. Sleeves are worked separately and sewn in place. The ribbed band that forms the collar is knit separately and sewn in place.

Removable markers are placed along the edge of the lower body section to indicate the position of the upper fronts and back. Place the markers on the fabric, not on the needle. Label the markers mA, mB, mC and mD.
