Cork Pullover by Jen Hagan from Interweave Knits Winter 2017.
Difficulty: Intermediate
A seductive blend of baby alpaca, fine merino, and mulberry silk makes up this soft tweed latticework pullover. A knitter’s delight, the Cork Pullover is worked from the bottom up in the round, then split for the armholes. The turtleneck and sleeves are picked up and knitted for a seamless garment.
Finished Size: 30½ (35, 39½, 44¼, 48¾)” bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 35″; modeled with 1″ of positive ease.
Yarn: Hikoo Simplinatural (40% baby alpaca, 40% fine merino wool, 20% mulberry silk; 183 yd [167 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #096 tangent, 6 (6, 7, 8, 9) balls. Yarn distributed by Skacel.
Needles: Size 8 (5 mm): 16″ and 24–36″ circular (cir), depending on size you are making, and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Marker (m); cable needle (cn); stitch holders; tapestry needle.?
Gauge: 18 sts and 21 rnds = 4″ in St st; 21 sts and 25 rnds = 4″ in Chart B patt.
