Description
Intrigued by the diamond scale pattern on the Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake, Jaya Srikrishnan challenged herself to duplicate it with a variation of entrelac knitting. The front and back are worked from the lower left corner upward to the right in small diamond and triangle motifs that, like the more common rectangular entrelac, build one upon the other. The sleeves are worked from the top down, also in units. The pieces are seamed together, then stitches are picked up and the edges are finished with simple ribbing.
