Description

The ruffled styling of this sweater is borrowed from traditional Eastern European peasant dance blouses. It has an air of innocence in ivory, but would be elegant in black or spicy in gypsy red.

Finished Size: Small (Medium, Large, XL) to fit Bust: 39 (42, 45, 48)”/99 (106.5, ¼.5, ½)cm. Waist: 26 (28, 30, 32)”/66 (71, 76, 81.5)cm. Length: 16 (16, 17.5, 18.5)”/40.5 (40.5, 44.5, 47)cm.
Yarn: Loop-d-Loop by Teva Durham River (90% cotton, 10% cashmere; 103yds [95m]/50g): #01 ivory, 4 (5, 6, 7) balls; Loop-d-Loop by Teva Durham Birch (90% cotton, 10% silk; 98 yd [90m]/50g): #03 dove grey, 2 (2, 2, 3) balls and Loop-d-Loop by Teva Durham Fern (70% wool, 30%nylon; 81yds [73m]/50g): #01 cream, 1 ball.
Yarn weight: #4 – Medium
Gauge: 16 sts and 18 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in St st using #9 needle.
Needles: Size 9 (5.5mm) circular needle, 32″/80cm and 16″/40cm long. Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
