Materials Needed to Complete This Project:
- 20-gauge sterling sheet, large enough for the major body of the piece and head
- 22-gauge sheet for the “cup and ring marks”
- Bezel wire
- 1 16-gauge square jump ring
- 2 inches 16 gauge round sterling wire
- 6 inches 14 gauge round sterling wire
- 1 lepidolite stone
- 1 ammonite cast
- Medium and hard wire solder rolled through the mill
- Going in Circles-B1805 Rollerprint Pattern™
- Thin Sharpie
Tools Needed to Complete This Project:
- Fabrication: Jewelers saw, #2/0 sawblades, Dremel or flex shaft, #55 drill bit, rawhide mallet, bench plate or anvil, #2 hand file, needle files, burnisher, center punch, brass mallet, flat nose pliers, medium bail making pliers, rolling mill, hallmark and sterling or 925 stamps
- Soldering: Torch, flux, pickle, charcoal block, firebrick, pickle pot, solder pick
- Finishing: Pink silicone finishing wheel, white silicone finishing wheel, 1-inch muslin buff on a mandrel, tripoli, 3M fine sanding sponge, 30- and 15-micron 3M finishing film, bezel pusher, burnisher, liver of sulfur, Dawn detergent, toothbrush
