Description
The Parker Cardigan playfully subverts the lace sweater concept: A dense eyelet bud lace hugs the waist, while a solid upper body has structured, cleanlined drape. Deborah Newton includes tiny, subtle shoulder pads to create a high ¼0s-influenced shoulder.
Finished Size: 38 (40½, 43½, 46½, 49)” bust circumference. Sweater shown measures 38″, modeled with plenty of positive ease.
Yarn: Classic Elite Allegoro (70% organic cotton, 30% linen; ½ yd [139 m]/50 g): #5619 lupine pink, 7 (8, 8, 9, 10) skeins.

Needles: Sweater size 5 (3.75 mm). Shoulder pads size 7 (4.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
