Description
Even the simplest shawl can add style (and warmth) to an outfit. This crescent-shaped wrap features garter stitch in a variegated yarn and a dramatic lace border in a solid yarn. Muted tones ripple across this shawl just as they do across an alpine tundra or Swedish glacier.

Notes:
- This shawl is worked back and forth in rows from the top down. A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.
- When working short-rows in garter stitch, it is not necessary to work the wraps together with the stitches they wrap since the wraps will be hidden in the garter ridges.
- Do not break yarn at color changes. Carry unused color up side of work until it is needed again. Bring new color under color just used.
