Description
Inspired by the golden age of Elizabethan England, the Tudor Rose Shawl is both commanding and feminine. It is worked from the top down in a conventional form and has alternating lace patterns throughout that mimic the architecture of the great halls and theatres of the Elizabethan age.

Yarn: Classic Elite Yarns Silky Alpaca Lace (70% baby alpaca, 30% silk; 440 yd [402 m]/1-3/4 oz [50 g]): #2482 blush, 3 balls.
Needles: Size 6 (4 mm): 16″ and 32″ circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle.
Gauge: 20 sts and 32 rows = 4″ in St st.
