Hat:
Finished Size: 18 (21 1/2)” circumference at brim (see Notes) and 8″ tall. Hat shown measures 18″.
Yarn: Universal Yarn Deluxe Worsted (100% wool; 220 yd [201 m]/3 1/2 oz [100 g]): #91467 tulipwood (MC) and #71006 white ash (CC), 1 skein each.
Needles: Band–size 5 (3.75 mm): 16″ circular (cir). Body–size 7 (4.5 mm): 16″ cir and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); cable needle (cn); tapestry needle.
Gauge: 18 sts and 21 rnds = 4″ in diagonal patt on larger needle.
