Description
Inspired by the fine-gauge baby sweaters found in knitting books from the 1940s era, Erica Alexander has designed this textured jacket for the newest member of her extended family. The body is worked in a single piece to the armholes, and the fronts and back are separated and worked individually to the shoulders. The front bands, including buttonholes, are worked simultaneously with the body. Four tiny buttons and a fold-over collar give the sweater a sweet style.
