In Interweave Knits, Winter 2018 we’ve curated designs inspired by the vast wilderness of the Northern Hemisphere. From the highest peaks of the Rocky Mountains, to the great Siberian wilderness, to the frozen lava fields of Iceland, to the outstretched fingers of Scandinavia, this issue is dedicated to knits for the coldest lands that only the hardiest can endure. This issue includes garments that celebrate the North, and are inspired by the many cultures that have made these places home: Icelandic Lopi sweaters, Pacific Northwest Cowichans, traditional Fair Isle, and cable knits, as well as textured garments and accessories.
